Why you would want to know anything about me is a beyond comprehension but since the new DeviantID format looks so....empty....if I don't put anything here (and because I'm a Virgo and therefore a perfectionist), I'm gonna ramble on a bit to fill this space up. Warning: I am a very boring person, so read at your own risk ^__~
Soooo.........I'm Jenny, a somewhat Japanese-obsessed individual (if you haven't noticed already), who loves to make kanzashi, cosplay, and just being crafty
. I'm also a nail technician who is currently studying a diploma in beauty therapy. Yeah, I'm a bit all over the place but I like keeping busy ;P
So how long have I been making kanzashi for? Since grade 12....which is ohhhh 6 years ago? Ages, I know -____- but I didn't actively start experimenting with new designs and such till early 2010, when my passion for kanzashi-making got reignited after I made the 'Kanzashi Comb' for a former work colleague of mine.
For me, creating a kanzashi is so satisfying because though it IS labor-intensive, the end result is so worth it....to see a pretty flower made from small square pieces of fabric just gives you that feeling of pride and joy. I also like to try new things rather than stick to the same old design. It's so much fun trying to figure out how to put a piece together based on an image or even just an idea. Sure....sometimes it's not successful but after a few attempts, it USUALLY works out ^^;
Ok, I think that's enough to make this thing look good ^___^ so I'm gonna stop rambling now ~hear sighs of relief from readers~

Sorry to get back to you so late, I rarely check my DA anymore these days Unfortunately I no longer sell kanzashi as I am in the process of opening a beauty salon. However, I do enjoy making the odd kanzashi here and there. Was there something you had in mind? I may be able to make it for you if I have enough time.
